Inspect guest rooms, public areas, pool, etc. after being cleaned by Housekeeper to ensure quality standards. Run sold room reports, verify room status, determine discrepant rooms, prioritize room cleaning, and update status of departing guest rooms. Assist Housekeeping management in managing daily activities. Act as a liaison to coordinate the efforts of Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry. Document and resolve issues with discrepant rooms with the Front Desk. Prepare, distribute, and communicate changes in assignment sheets/workboards. Communicate issues to next shift. Complete required paperwork. Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and motivating and coaching employees.

Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; complete safety training and certifications. Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional. Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets. Support all co-workers and treat them with dignity and respect. Support team to reach common goals. Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards. Move at a speed that is required to respond to work situations (e. g., run, walk, jog). Read and visually verify information in a variety of formats (e. g., small print). Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines (e. g., to identify defects). Enter and locate work-related information using computers and/or point of sale systems. Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces. Move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces and steps. Move up and down stairs and/or service ramps. Continual use of manual dexterity and gross motor skills with frequent use of bi-manual dexterity and fine motor skills. Move, lift, carry, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 55 pounds without assistance and in excess of 55 pounds with assistance. Ability to push and pull a loaded housekeeping cart and other work-related machinery over sloping and uneven surfaces. Stand, sit, kneel, or walk for an extended period or high frequency across an entire work shift. Listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees. Speak with others using clear and professional language. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

OVERVIEW OF THE FUNCTIONS OF THE POST
Under the averall delegated authority of the Director/Head of the Office and the direct supervision of the Finance and Administrative Offlcer (CFO) or Senior Finance and Administrative Assistant, as applicable, the incumbent is involved in the completion of standard administrative support activities and processes as per UNESCO Rules and Regulations.

As a team member, the incumbent provides administrative and support services in processing transactions, control and maintenano of acounts and databases, and préparation of routine reports, correspondence and administrative documentation.

General Accountabilities:
Assist in the préparation of documents/reports.
Compile, verify and maintain records of transactions and Office activities.
Classify and code materiat relating to a number of subject areas and maintains general office files.
Search Office files and records relating to a variety of topics for information and référence from automated Systems.
Select information and record in correspondence, technical papers, project/programme plans and general reference documents.
Draft routine correspondence, mémorandums and reports.

Finance Accountabilities:
Process payments.
Provide information, exptanations and guidance on basic rules and procedures.
Ensure that the accounting records (disbursement and receipts documents) and corresponding justifications are complete and properly filed.
Act as bank focal point; carry on thé réconciliation and follow up on bank documents.
Ensure that monthly bank statements of accounts of the Office are received on time for the monthty closing of accounts.
Verify transactions and check data/figures; identify and correct errors/anomalies and assist to input corrective action in IRIS, SISTER etc.

Long Description

HR Accountabilities:
Extract data from automated Systems or other sources and prépare documents for processing; malntainance date database and follow up on personnel files.

Assist staff members and their dependents by processing requests for visas, identity cards, driving licenses and other necessary personnel-related documents in accordance with requirements of thé organization and thé host country.

Collect applications for vacancies and conduct référence checks;

Coordinate interview schedules, prépare agenda and documentation.

Logistics:
Make arrangements for shipment and receipt of office and project supplies and equipment and household effects, including customs clearance.

Follow up on requests by tracking and collecting orders (goods and services), check that goods and services are received according to thé terms of thé Pro forma (time, quantlty, quality).

Maintain and monitor stock levels of various supply items.

Liaise with companies and différent host country's administration.

Follow up air tickets purchase and payments, prepare travel authorizations , track security certificates and make travel and hotel reservations.

DHL Express está contratando a un Lobbying Manager Security para el equipo de Mexico quien será responsable elaborar estrategias de gestión y cabildeo con las autoridades gubernamentales federales, estatales y locales de Seguridad y Aduanas que garanticen la continuidad del negocio. Participación activa en Cámaras y Asociaciones de Seguridad y del sector de Aduanas y Comercio Exterior para establecer vínculos y estrategias para mejora en ambos gremios. Monitorear y dar seguimiento de las publicaciones realizadas medios y páginas oficiales de seguridad y aduanas, así como las publicaciones y notas que generen oportunidades o riesgos para el negocio. Analizar y atender las propuestas de iniciativas legislativas y normativas en materia de Seguridad y Aduanas a fin de detectar posibles afectaciones para la operación del negocio.
Principales Responsabilidades:

  • Fortalecer las relaciones con las autoridades federales, locales y estatales de Seguridad y Aduanas así como con las Asociaciones, Cámaras y Grupos empresariales relacionados con ambas áreas.
  • Garantizar la continuidad del negocio mediante acuerdos de apoyo y trabajo conjunto las autoridades a nivel federal, estatal y municipal así como con entidades del poder legislativo y judicial.
  • Coordinar y dar seguimiento a la calendarización de reuniones con las distintas Secretarías de Seguridad y Protección Ciudadana a nivel Federal, Estatal y Municipal, Secretaría de Economía, SAT, Administración General de Aduanas, Cámara de Senadores y Cámara de Diputados.
  • Participación y seguimiento de reuniones con la Administración Aeroportuaria del País.
  • Monitorear los distintos medios de comunicación para detectar las situaciones que acontecen en el país que tengan un impacto de beneficio o afectación para la continuidad del negocio.
  • Preparar y entregar reportes sobre los avances del seguimiento a los acuerdos realizados en los distintos foros.
  • Cabildear con los distintos organismos de Gobierno y empresariales propuestas que beneficien en materia de seguridad al negocio.
  • Preparar presentaciones para la Gerencia y/o Dirección que proyecten la información de la empresa a las autoridades y/o grupos empresariales.
  • Promover a través de las coordinaciones regionales de seguridad la vinculación con las autoridades locales.

Perfil Requerido:

  • Experiencia: 3 años de experiencia en asuntos relacionados.
